Janet Luehrs, President / Principal
Ms. Luehrs, President and owner of Brookwater, Inc., has been involved in the irrigation industry for 44 years. Ms. Luehrs has a creative approach to irrigation design, which brings innovative solutions to irrigation system design and water management opportunities. As Principal of the firm, she consults with clients, directs design development and oversees the execution of plans utilizing AutoCAD, Vectorworks and MicroStation as appropriate. She works in concert with clients and our design team to drive the development of technical specifications, innovative design solutions as well as ensuring water management objectives are met. Our extensive portfolio of completed projects includes municipal, commercial and estate residential projects both in the US and for international clients.
Prior to Brookwater, Ms. Luehrs owned a landscape installation and maintenance company for 13 years. She is an expert in plant identification and has a deep understanding of plant horticultural requirements which inform her irrigation design solutions.
Ms. Luehrs is active in the American Society of Irrigation Consultants (ASIC) and a member of the Irrigation Association. Ms. Luehrs is an award-winning designer and widely acknowledged by her peers as being among the top Irrigation Consultants in the nation.

Brandon Farnworth-Komar, Senior Associate
Mr. Farnworth-Komar received his BFA Degree in Production Design from University of Utah in 2007. He received his BFA Degree in Production Design from University of Utah in 2007. Brandon has a depth of knowledge of the construction industry and construction details from his previous employment. Analytical and proficient in a variety of technologies he has shown initiative in his new position with Brookwater.

Elva Kuang, Associate
Ms. Kuang received Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Ohio State University in 2018.
Since her employment at Brookwater, Elva has worked on commercial and residential projects. A strong environmental stewardship ethic drives her focus on high efficiency systems that support the built environment.
