Chase Center
Project Description
The Chase Center is a sports and entertainment arena in San Francisco. It is home to the Golden State Warriors. This $1.4 billion facility is on a 12-acre site located in Mission Bay. The project has a theater and a 35,000 square feet of public plaza and recreation areas. The building includes landscaping on the street front, plaza, and multi-level terraces connected by a spiraling path. The terraced garden areas on Third Street function as bio-filtration for storm water run-off.
Firm Role
Water conservation and sustainability were cornerstone elements to the irrigation planning and design process.
Irrigation planning, design, specifications, water use calculations, Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
Coordinated with the Landscape Architect, property owner and the City of San Francisco.
